While some of us may feel like we are riding in the past on an old-school subway car without the latest updates and LED stop notifiers, you might want to put things into perspective by riding a piece of history this weekend.

MTA will be making a 90-minute round trip on the V line between Queens Plaza and 2nd Ave, every Sunday during the month of December, with a historic subway car – although the details of the age and history of the car are not noted.

update: The New York Times reports that the car in use went into service in the 1930’s.
