Why would train commuters in Los Angeles be so interested in StationStops’ Metro-North Line Train Schedules?
Because, as it turns out, Los Angeleans (?) hate PDF files as much as we do!
Just like MTA’s own website, if Los Angeles train commuters want to pull up a train schedule on their web browser, they are stuck with an icky and confusing PDF download.
Granted, MTA also has a web form to produce HTML results, but those results, frustratingly, cannot be bookmarked, so users must fill out the same form every time, even if 99% of the time they are just checking the schedule from their home station to Grand Central.
This is why StationStops.com offers Metro-North Schedules in a simple HTML format.
Our Left-Coast blogging pals at MetroRiderLA passed on the kudos last Thursday.
