MTA Train Track Laying and Fabrication Video

If you like laying track, then this is the video for you.

According to the credits, this is footage of the NYCT ‘Linden Shop and Yard’ and ‘Track and Switch Fabrication Facility’.

  • Watch as MTA ‘gangs’ fabricate and lay train tracks for your viewing pleasure.
  • Behold the mighty drill press dubbed ‘R2D2′ that can drill SIX holes at ONE TIME!
  • Observe why 90% of MTA revenue goes to back surgery and prescription painkillers for its track layers every year.
  • Revel at the only MTA arm which is 2 months ahead in production.

Oddly, the music gives the whole video a kind of Chelsea nightclub atmosphere.
