On Monday we posted a video where Walt Mossberg effectively announced a 3g Apple iPhone Release Date of June 4.
Well, today Mossberg is backpedaling on that, basically stating that he was just throwing out a speculative date based on low iPhone inventory observations many have been noticing lately, which might indicate an impending 3g iPhone release.
He also asked why, if he knew this information, he would release it in Finland as he did rather than in his Wall Street Journal article.
That’s an easy answer Walt – Apple gave you the information on background, and you had a senior moment.
