Connecticut State Police Stop All Traffic On I-95 Southbound In Norwalk Behind Costco
Above: A reader took this cellphone picture at around 6PM near Exit 13 in Norwalk, while travelling Northbound. Traffic had been blocked in the Southbound lane by about 15 State Police cars.

UPDATE: We have the details on this incident here.

At about 5:45 there were reports that the state police had blocked ALL traffic southbound on I-95 around exit 13(?) And that huge crowds had gathered outside the back of Norwalk Costco to watch about 15 State Police cars which had stopped traffic, while officers were running around frantically with cell phones and radios.

The Connecticut DOT cameras in the area were offline.

At 6 PM Stamford police dispatch had told its units that the ’suspect had been apprehended by State Police’.

If you have any info post in comments.

There was still massive amounts of traffic at 10pm last night. So ridic! I’m confused as to whether the girl was really being held hostage? Or if she was part of the crime?!
