Two teens were struck by a NJ Transit Train Friday night, one is dead and another is in critical condition.
The two boys, Connor Corish and Christopher Cipolli, both 15, of Nanuet, were walking Northbound on the train tracks between Spring Valley and Nanuet around 6:30 friday night. Noise from the rain and nearby thruway probably kept them from hearing the horn of the train, which struck them from behind.
Corish, who was a champion wrestler at Don Bosco Prep, was pronounced dead at Westchester Medical Center Saturday morning, while Cipolli was listed as being in critical condition.
