Two Mansions - Dunnellen Hall in Stamford Conecticut, and Hillandale in Greenwich

Left – Dunnellen Hall is listed at $125M by David Ogilby.

Right – Hillandale in Stamford is listed at $95M by Sotheby’s International Realty.

Forbes.com has posted a new horrifically-annoying but impossible-to-resist automated slideshow of the most expensive homes in the U.S.

Two Farifield County homes made the list, including the 20,000 sf, 10 bathroom  Hillandale estate in Stamford.

If you really want to (try to) keep up with the Kogans, however, you will want to opt for the 22,000 sf Dunnellen Hall in Greenwich ( besides, a Stamford address is so ambiguous ). It has 13 bathrooms – so no lines like Hillandale.

If you were looking to take advantage of the down market, however, forget it – properties like these are still at an all-time high.
