So some people say get a wii get a 360 hmmm do you people who say that have any intelligence what about ps3 free online playing, blu ray, bluetooth, 1 gigabit/1000 megabit per second ethernet port, wi fi built in, remote play, internet browser, up to 2 terabytes on a 2.5 SATA hard drive if upgraded, best support team, plays mpeg 1 2 3 and 4 DivX Xvid mp4 AVC and some more video formats, plays mp3 wma atrac aac m4a and some more music formats, HDMI port, 3.2 gigahertz processor most PCs are 3.0 gigahertz, Playstation Move, comfortable controller, 3-D, and looks cool Wii has low res, no HDD (hard drive) no badass multimedia feutures 360 HD DVD no longer used, breaks down Kinect is a copy of Playstation Eye 60$ a year for online gaming no 3-D gaming ugly dashboard 4 or 250 GB HDD included can’t go to 2 terabytes ps3 comes in at 160 250 or 320 GB included I heard that there is one with 350 GB included not sure though I for got to mention that a ps3 can go to youtube 360 can’t ps3 can play flash videos 360 can’t to finish off get a ps3 you’ll be happy what it has to offer a 360 is for people who fall for microsofts scams to steal their money a wii is for little kids who like marrio and zelda ps3 is for all ages my grandma always watches blu ray on my ps3 when I aint using it the ps3 is for smart people who want the most for their money wii little kids 360 MS lovers who like to waste cash for no reason long live PS3

I went with the PS3 simply for the games. I have always been addicted to the Tomb Raider and Ratchet & Clank series. After purchasing it for the games I found the Blu-ray player to be pretty sweet. They do cost a bit more now but they are still pretty new. As they increase in sales and DVD’s decrease you will see the prices fall. The price on the PS3 has fallen a bit to…but it’s hard to tell. The reason is that mine is a 40 gig and I paid $400.00 for it in January 2008. Now you can get 80 gig for the same price (which supposedly has backward compatibility for PS2 games). I won’t lie, when I got mine home and found out that it wouldn’t play my PS2 games I was a little PO’d. But I have recently sold my PS2 and all the games anyway since I have never had the desire to play them again…not after experiencing the PS3. I have not seen the XBox Live site so I can’t say that the Playstation Network is better. What I can say is that they have done many upgrades to the Playstation store that ROCK! Besides the ability to download games, game demos, movie/game trailors, game ad-ons and themes (all of which have a price) you can also rent movies via the Playstation Network. If your the kind of person who likes networking with other players, the PS3 now has an FREE option where you can create an avatar, decorate your own virtual apartment, meet other players via their avatars in a Central Plaza, go bowling with other players in the virtual bowling alley, play pool, or just all get together and dance to streaming music (the avatars are hilarious when they dance). It’s kind of like “The Sims” except everyone controls their own “Sim”. I am not slamming the XBox…in fact I feel sorry for those that got screwed when HD DVD’s went to the wayside. The two biggest factors for any purchaser are probably the games and the price. If you have tons of money to burn then I would go with the PS3 and also buy a PSP. You can link the two together to accomplish some pretty cool stuff…but I digress.

XBox 360 all the way. Though I’d probably want a Wii which looks like fun.
Sony cut off backwards compatability for PS2 and One unlike XBox who still makes older Xbox titles work with their 360 system. Basically Sony’s way of saying “you want to play older games, buy the older system too…”

I’d buy a PS3 for a Bluray player if thats important to you. At least it doesn’t appear to be going the way of the Betamax… yet…($400 players? $30 a disc?)…

Cost…Sony Playstation3 runs how much now versus a Xbox360 or a Wii?

Anyone remember the cost of a 8meg memory card on a PS2? ($20-30) Remember when you thought the price would go down? LOL

People will cut down Mr. Gates as being “money hungry” but honestly, look at Sony’s attempts to monopolize formats.
Some won’t buy a 360 because they think Microsoft is too greedy but Sony is… hmmm.
Graphics on the XBox360 and PS3 are parallel. Except as far as price is concerned. I personally like the Xbox360 game selection verses PS3…and I can play my old Xbox games with it.

PS3 ALL DAY! Tech Specs WAY better than Xwhack 360! Comes with all you need(minus the HD connectors). Plays Blue Ray. Richer colors. More detail in graphics. Smoother game play. Faster and more powerful proccesor than most SUPER computers! FREE INTERNET USE unlike Xwhack 360(you can thank money hungry Mr. Gates for that) Plus Xwhack 360′s controller is way to big and uncomfortable! I could go on all day……. but ill stop, you get the point. PS3!!!

If you arent allowed to play M games, I would definitely go with the Wii!

If you are, the decision is much harder. I would go to Gamespot.com and find the top 10 games you would want to play, and see which consoles they are available for, before you make a decision.
