The Firefox 3 Web Browser is being released today at 1PM, and I encourage you to download it - especially if you haven’t tried Firefox before.
I have been using Firefox 3 Release Candidates 2 and 3, and the performance is substantially better than Firefox 2 in terms of rendering and javascript execution. I also really like the new default theme - I actually prefer it over any of the third-party themes. Memory usage has also been significantly reduced.
As of today, add-on support is very good (although I cannot speak for your individual favorites). Add-ons are the primary reason I prefer Firefox. Internet Explorer is more compatible, while Opera is faster but less compatible. Both IE and Opera support add-ons to some extent, but the library of existing ones pale in comparison to Firefox.
I guess Firefox fans are trying to set some kind of one-day download record for Firefox today.

Cool. I’ll probably do this. I have a Firefox plug-in called Morning Coffee that I use. Each AM it loads your sites but you can choose on which days you want certain sites to load. It’s very convenient!
