Update: Apparently Apple is having massive problems which are preventing iPhone users from activating their phones in-store. This is contributing to the huge lines, and some users are being sent home with their phones to activate it online with little success… Read more here…

3G iPhone Launch Hit Bumps In The Road, But Postively Received

The 3G iPhone went on sale in the US at 8AM this morning to generally positive reviews.
Folks are reporting that data speeds are very good as expected (where you can get 3G), call sound quality is much improved over the original, although voice reception is still a little below par.
