Surprisingly, the MTA’s Metro-North schedule app works quite well on the iPhone. Here’s how to get to the form instantly from an icon on your home screen.
1. Open Safari on your iPhone and navigate to ‘http://mta.info’
2. Click ‘Metro-North Railroad’
3. Select your schedule East or West of the Hudson.
4. Click the ‘+’ icon
5. Click ‘Add To Home Screen’
Voila, now you can go right to the MTA Metro-North schedule form for your line right from the iPhone’s home screen with one click.
