Greenwich To Vote Democratic For First Time In 44 Years

October 27th, 2008 by Chris (Admin) · 2 Comments

According to recent polls, Greenwich residents are likely to vote for a democratic president for the first time since Lyndon Baines Johnson’s landslide victory against Barry Goldwater in 1964.

Ironically, Greenwich, childhood home of George W. Bush, voted for McCain in the last election.

In 4 out of 5 Greenwich zip codes, including backcountry (!) and Riverside, Obama was showing a lead in the latest polls.

Funny how polls are looked at as fact. Reality is polls are often far from it. Let’s see if any of this thread is true on November 6th.

Not looked on as fact - that’s why I used the word ‘likely’.

BTW - a correction - this was not polling data, but campaign contribution data.
