A reader writes in this morning:

“Was there a stopage or halt to the Uptown 6 train service last night (Nov. 4th) in NY around 11pm or so? I heard there was a police investigation somewhere down the track line and that hundreds of people were stranded inside the train for almost an hour. I think they said train was stopped around 86th st. Can anybody confirm??”

I sent in to MTA for more info – if anyone else has any ideas, please let us know in the comments…

This happened again tonight; 6-train doors closed without a word, and passengers were left in silence for almost an hour while police walked up and down the platform looking in car windows. Towards the end the conductor finally announced a “police investigation” and apologized for the unlawful detention. How long are taxpayers going to be held hostage to these fascists?
