A riot with police erupted in Stamford Port Chester Greenwich this weekend, with a rioter attempting to steal an officer’s nightstick while another tried to hit him on the back of the head with a rock.
Curiously, the event seemed completely unrelated to financial malfeasance, backcountry spouse disposal, school cupcakes, drug-addled plastic surgeons or any other of the short list of Greenwich policing duties.
