Erin Go Metro-North: Take Our Trains to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade

On Tuesday, March 17th, The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade will march up Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 86th Street starting at 11 AM. And nobody gets you to the festivities faster and easier than MTA Metro-North Railroad. Grand Central is just a short distance from the parade route, and we’ve got plenty of convenient service operating all day long.

We’re even adding additional inbound trains the day of the parade:

* On the Hudson Line, a train departs Poughkeepsie at 8:41 AM, stops at New Hamburg, Beacon, Peekskill and Harlem-125th Street, arriving Grand Central at 10:11 AM.

* On the Harlem Line, a train departs Southeast at 9:05 AM, stops at Brewster, Goldens Bridge, Katonah, Mount Kisco, Chappaqua, North White Plains, White Plains, Harlem -125th Street, arriving Grand Central at 10:23 AM.

Visit our schedules page for more details on service.

Remember: This St. Patrick’s Day, wear green, don’t spend it. If you are going to the parade, buy your tickets in advance at a ticket office, from one of our ticket machine, or from WebTicket. (Tickets sold on trains are always more expensive!) Also, we ask that you please refrain from bringing alcohol on the trains on St. Patrick’s Day.
