I just lowered the price on StationStops for iPhone to $1.99.
I promised users that I would lower the price significantly as soon as I recovered the cost of the expensive Mac hardware I had to buy to build the app. This has been accomplished, so I’m making good on my promise!
I also submitted version 1.2 to the iPhone App Store.
Version 1.2 reflects changes in the Metro-North schedule effective April 5th. I have little control over when Apple decides to put it in the App Store, so if you download it before April 5th, keep that in mind.
There is also a new feature – Station Information pages. When you click a disclosure chevron next to a Station name in the Station list, it will show you a page with information about the Station, as well as a link to pull the Station up in Google Maps. This makes getting directions to a station very easy.

Awesome, Chris! I’ve been waiting for the price drop…
I don’t have much need for the app, but the few times I do, it’s going to be totally worth the price!
The app works great and looks good, so I am excited to finally own your app!
I’ll link to this post from Stamford Talk tomorrow, too.
