Looking now for something faster for my Mac Pro, like a PCI e card (OCZ Z) or similar. For my mackook pro i need a 512gb ssd though..waiting I have the same setup, 17” macbook pro unibody with a 256gb Vertex, had a Mtron before, on my Mac Pro i have 4 Intel X25 in Raid 0.
