Don’t know much about the details, but word is over in China that the China State Construction Engineering Corp. has bagged a $100M contract to provide subway ventilation ‘in New York’s Manhattan area’.

A great follow-up to our $710M contract for the new New Haven Line Metro-North cars – now over a year late – from JAPAN.

Hey, MTA (I am guessing this is an MTA project) – it would be really cool if you could either come in somewhere near your budget, or at least contract some American workers. Blowing your budget, sending billions overseas, and asking for bailouts is triple-dipping.
