I saw the story posted on CNN, CBS (via AP), Techdirt, and it also got frontpaged on digg.com (which, if you want to pray something stays under the radar on the internet, is by far your worst nightmare).

Last Wednesday a 10-lb piece of oblong metal, which may have been a piece of bracing used when pouring concrete, fell 25 stories from the Trump Parc Tower construction site in downtown Stamford, pierced the roof of a Crystal Rock water delivery truck, and struck its driver in the arm.

Update: In answer to some emails, the video was created with a Canon HG10 HD Digital Camcorder, a Canon SD870IS for the stills, edited with Pinnacle Studio 11 on Windows Vista Ultimate. A Shure SM57 Microphone was used for the voiceover narration, connected to the PC via Creative Labs X-Fi .

Connecticut DOT has I-95 pretty well covered with traffic cams, but the interface isn’t all that great.
Mobile|Traffic has their own page for navigation, which is better, I think.
