At the Apple WWDC keynote on Monday, Apple demoed its new AJAX-based, cross-platform web applications for email and calendaring.
Named ‘MobileMe’, the applications are clearly targeted at successful webmail/calendaring apps such as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, and Hotmail/Live Mail, and promise to integrate fully with the iPhone.

During his keynote at the Apple Worldwide Developer’s conference at 1PM ET today, Steve Jobs announced the iPhone 2.0 SDK.
Jobs also highlighted the new enterprise (including Microsoft Exchange and Cisco VPN Support) features of the new iPhone 2.0 software, and how it had been tested thoroughly with about 35% of Fortune 500 companies.

Rumors are that Apple is looking to open a new store on Greenwich Avenue, in the location previously occupied by the now defunct Clearview Cinema.
