Earlier today we reported that a young man was killed by an E subway train yesterday .
Sadly, just hours after, AMNY reports that another man was killed this morning in Brooklyn by a Manhattan-bound C Train.
For unknown reasons, the man was on the catwalk beyond the platform when he was struck.

Stan Pales, a 21-year-old Brooklyn man, was found dead on the subway tracks at 14th St and Eighth Ave early Sunday morning.
Police said he had been struck by a Southbound E Train and are investigating, an autopsy is scheduled for today.

The New York Times is reporting that some MTA subway improvements which were promised as part of the recent fare increase are being postponed due to other economic factors, including the slumping housing market and Wall St. financials.
